Organized according to a duo of materials and architectural styles, Le Nant’ile reflects the project’s two main program families, i.e., offices and apartments.
Le Peuple Belge is built on a 515 m² corner lot, integrated into the urban island and rising, over six
floors, to a height of 21 metres. It offers a mix of functions - restaurants, hospitality, and
accommodation.
With its minimalist esthetics and elegant transparency, the monolithic building gives an embracing and protective gesture towards the surrounding nature, reinforcing the dialogue between the diverse elements of the area.
The new 1,300 seat concert hall is sited adjacent to the existing House of Culture. The building was designed as a “perfect acoustic instrument in its case” in collaboration with Nagata Acoustics.
